Old, what old? The body may be 58, but the mind & soul are still 17. I may grow old, but I'll never grow up. Still can do what I could then, just takes a little longer. LMAO

In reference to Candace DeBacco's message...and since I always have an opinion about everything...I will weigh in on the topic of dress for the evening. I agree that it might be nice to dress comfortably (dressy casual-business casual) so we can party what's left of our brains out, especially since we all probably have more brains than body, as the knees are the first to go. Unless you're Skeeter Fleming and the hair was the first thing to leave town. Oops, sorry Skeeter!
In response to Rich Vasko's message...what are you on dude? because I really want to try your vitamins....you are so full of energy! Looking forward to seeing you and everyone else at the reunion.
Kate, Skeeter, Duffy and Rich......REALLY APPRECIATE all the hard work you have done to keep this thing going!!!!!
Hola from Southern California (aka Norte de Mexico/Provincia de Mexico).

Hi Everyone:
In response to Juanita's message, I say ditto! I too had such a wonderful time at the reunion and seeing so many of you. I didn't do too badly at recognizing people except for Rich Vasko...I had no clue who you were. What was most striking though, was how happy everyone looked. Why did we wait so long to do this??? I can't thank Kate, Rich, Skeeter and Duffy enough for organizing such a gala event. So, when do we party again? My knees have finally recovered from all the dancing so, I'm good for another round.
Seriously, I wish everyone a very happy holiday and a prosperous, healthy new year.
Love to all,
Sharon Muessig (Fornaro)

Everyone,
I too would like to thank Rich, Kate, and Skeeter for the tremendous job they did in organizing the reunion. It was so nice to see everyone, and how we all changed, yet all somehow were the same.
I also would like to wish everyone a Happy, Healthy, Holiday Season and many blessings to all in 2009.
Keep on Rockin'!!
Love,
Diane

Anyone interested in Oldies from the 30's to the 70's, with old time radio shows might be interested in this site. The DJ is a local guy, Chester, NJ area. Nice mix. Plus, he's available for functions.

Having read a review of a new book, "IN THE LAND OF INVENTED LANGUAGES...," Mike and I were trying to remember who in our class were involved with and which teacher sponsored the "Esperanto Club." Anyone remember?

Doc South will be DJing the car show in Washington on June 13th, from 10 til 2. The show will be at the old Rossi dealership, by the Washington Diner. Admission is free. There'll be cars & motorcycles.
If you should be at the show, stop by and say hi to Doc. Tell him I sent you.

Hi all,
Can you believe that I have 3 other "very special" places to be with "very special" persons in my life on the same day and time of the PIGNIC?
A family retirement picnic, an 80th birthday party (not mine), a work obligation picnic, and the one that I most want to go to the Class of '68 PIGNIC.
When the news first came of this event, I jumped on it but who would have thought 3 other obligations would come up. I really must (to keep peace in the family) attend the family get-togethers (one in Hunterdon County, the other in Panther Valley) and will take a pass on the work related activities.....I see those people at work anyway.
I will try to "slip-out" of the Panther Valley party but can't promise....the timing is not great it starts later in the day. If I know most of you the beer will run out shortly after it's tapped.
I don't mean to hope for rain but the "rain date" would work for me.
If not, make PIGS OF YOURSELVES and have a grand time,
Health & Peace to all,
Phil Hammel

Sounds like "yins" had a great time at the pignic...I've been looking for pictures! Mike and I just couldn't make it back to NJ that weekend. It's been a crazy summer. Mike devoted much time to the lovely community of Norvelt, PA...helping them celebrate their 75th anniversary. Check out their site www.norvelt.org. He was the keynote speaker at their dinner and a co-grand marshall in the parade. The book is his "baby."

Looks like everyone had a very relaxing enjoyable day (except the pig of course). Couldn't make it up to NJ this year but maybe next year. Hope an annual get together keeps happening!

Anyone want to join me or sponsor me in a CROP Hunger Walk in Hackettstown on Oct 25 at 1 p.m. ?? I've already raised $400!!!
http://www.churchworldservice.org/goto/juanita.barna
Registration and the walk begin at Gethsemane Lutheran Church at 409 E. Baldwin in Hackettstown, phone: 908-852-2156. The walk will be in town for 1 or 2.2 miles depending on a person’s ability with the shorter version ending at the First Presbyterian Church on Main Street and the longer version continuing back to Gethsemane Lutheran Church. CROP Hunger Walks help fight hunger and poverty around the world, including the United States. 25% of what the CROP Hunger Walk raises will be used to assist in local hunger-fighting ministries.
